Goel Glass manufactures turnkey Liquid-Liquid Extraction Units designed for the selective separation and recovery of chemical constituents from aqueous or organic solutions through differential solubility in an immiscible solvent phase. Constructed from high-purity Borosilicate Glass 3.3 and chemically inert PTFE, these semi-batch systems provide zero metallic contamination and complete process visibility.
The feed solution is charged into the extraction vessel while the extraction solvent is gently vaporized inside a lower reboiler vessel. Vapors ascend into a high-surface coil condenser, and pure condensed solvent passes through an overhead reflux splitter into a multi-port manifold. By configuring the manifold valves, solvent can be introduced either at the bottom (for lighter-than-feed solvents) or at the top (for heavier-than-feed solvents), ensuring optimal counter-current phase contact. The enriched extract stream returns to the reboiler where the solvent continuously vaporizes and recycles, concentrating the extracted solute in the reboiler.
Upon completion of the extraction cycle, the reboiler recovers the solvent cleanly overhead into the extraction vessel, allowing both the concentrated solute and recovered solvent to be drained independently via PTFE bottom outlet valves.

Goel Glass Solid-Liquid Extraction Units operate on the classic Soxhlet percolation principle engineered on an industrial pilot scale. The system preferentially extracts and concentrates soluble compounds, bioactive molecules, or natural products from solid materials using a continuously recycled pure solvent loop.
The solid feedstock is loaded inside a high-porosity glass fiber thimble bag or porous basket within the extraction vessel. Solvent charged in the reboiler is steadily vaporized and delivered to the overhead condenser. The distilled, chilled solvent flows through a reflux divider into the extraction chamber, submerging the solid bed in freshly distilled solvent. Once the desired saturation and extraction cycle is reached, the concentrated extract returns to the reboiler, where solvent continuously distills away, leaving the purified extract behind.
The units are engineered for standard atmospheric and reduced-pressure operation across vessel volumes from 10 L to 100 L.
