Goel Glass manufactures high-precision Borosilicate 3.3 Jacketed Glass Vessels engineered for demanding chemical processes requiring strict temperature regulation, such as exothermic reactions, active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) crystallization, and vacuum distillation. Fabricated from certified Schott Duran or equivalent 3.3 expansion borosilicate glass, our jacketed vessels provide complete chemical inertness across aggressive acids, organic solvents, and high-purity syntheses.
For thermal heating or cooling, the outer jacket is sealed to the inner vessel body with chemical-resistant Viton® ‘O’ rings and specialized sealing compositions. This flexible sealing system accommodates differential thermal expansion between the inner process vessel and the outer jacket, preventing mechanical stress cracking during rapid heating or chilling. The glass jacket is rated for an operating pressure up to 0.5 bar(g), operating temperatures up to 130°C in the jacket, and a maximum permissible temperature difference (ΔT) of 120°C between the jacket fluid and process media.
Engineered for complete process visibility, our jacketed vessels integrate effortlessly with circulators, overhead stirring agitators, and flush-bottom drain valves for zero-dead-space drainage. Vacuum-jacketed models are also available to provide transparent thermal insulation, minimizing heat loss to the ambient environment and preventing frost formation during sub-zero cryogenic operations.
